Genievre was one of the Headspace fragrances that spoke to me. Unfortunately I only had a tiny bit left in my sample to wear, so I’ll keep my review shorter, as I’m not sure if I got the full experience this time.
However, it was a nice wear. Short, but nice. This is a fresh fragrance and a huge departure from the Headspace fragrances that I’d tried up to this point (Santal, Myrrh and Styrax). I wore this side by side with Styrax, which probably wasn’t the best idea.
Super bright, sharp, bitter and quite neutral at the same time. Neutral as in; it’s not a vibrant juicy fruitiness. It’s more water than fruit juice, but the texture is lovely fizzy. From my memory, Genievre is very close to Acqua di Parma Ginepro Di Sardegna, which I also loved.
