THOUGHTS
Oud was a 2019 release, back when Aaron Terence Hughes used a different, much harsher (and/or higher amount?) of ouds than in the years after. Oud had a similar oud scent as his Chocolate, Rose & Oud and Tobacco, Oud & Vanilla, of which I only liked the latter.
The original version of Oud is one of the harsher, more barnyardy ouds that I’ve experienced to date. It got quite woody, like a dark, relentless wave of woods coming at you and it lasted for ages. A hint of rose came through, but it was overpowered by the harsher notes.
