Tobacco, Oud & Vanilla was a 2019 release, back when Aaron Terence Hughes used a different, much harsher (and/or higher amount?) of ouds than in the years after. Tobacco, Oud & Vanilla had a similar oud scent as his Chocolate, Rose & Oud and Oud. However, I disliked those two releases, and I really enjoyed Tobacco, Oud & Vanilla.
It opened with a similar, harsh, barnyardy and burnt smelling woody oud, but added an absolutely gorgeous, rich syrupy vanilla. There was a dry tobacco or perhaps birch tar-esque smokiness throughout, but the vanilla really helped with making this more wearable.
Sidenote: Apparently this is now being released as Tabac, but I assume it will contain a much different oud than the original.
